At the request of the South Australian Attorney-General’s Department, Mingara completed an independent review of the South Australian Government Radio Network (SAGRN) usage and performance during the Pinery Fire on the 25th November 2015.

In September 2016 Mingara’s report was made public by South Australia’s House of Assembly.

As a result of Mingara’s independent report, the Attorney-General’s Department established the SAGRN Pinery Fire Review Action Plan. Describing the actions considered necessary to address the recommendations of the Pinery Fire Review, the Action Plan was developed with the assistance of Mingara, and in consultation with the SA Country Fire Service and SA Police.

The SAGRN Pinery Fire Review Action Plan was made public by South Australia’s House of Assembly in September 2016.
